Brown Stew Chicken IS Incredible, that's one to try. Looking forward to it. I think using plenty of ketchup is must to balance the heat. I don't think you need browning but it is very authentic, I've tried the sugar thing too it does work.

Thank you for such an entertaining hour. I love your sense of humor. Trying to come up with uses for 10 pounds of fennel was a challenge but you handled it well. Love your wife in the background. And I do buy San Mariano. I’m from NJ and read the label on the can and put it back. Thank you again for sharing

Hi chef John I am sorry that I wasn't able to ask live. Can you make something veggie without garlic? I like garlic but don't want to eat it every meal. Can you help?

Chef John with 25 minutes left to the stream I commented that I was getting agitated. You seemed confused by the comment. To clarify, my agitation was caused by the approaching end of the stream which I had hoped would continue for at least another two hours. Keep up the great work!! And keep Michele laughing!!! Another NJ fan.

Just made the fishermans pie of the 3rd time in the last 3 weeks. We (me, wife and 2 kids) love it. We had a rainy day here in Western Australia, halfway through spring in Australia, summer starts on the 1st December so our veggie garden growing season just starting. I grow heaps of our own veggies which I then use in the kitchen…, always looking for interesting, easy to make dinners. Love the recipes.., love the vids.., stay safe.

Hi Chef John!!! Please could you tell me how to prep sugar pumpkins!

I need help!! Not sure how to contact you, so I am trying this. I am recently diagnosed with Celiac, so I am now learning how to cook gluten free. (or in other words, food from Hell). I make my own spaghetti sauce and meatballs. I always use the 93% lean ground turkey, never had a problem.
Replacing my bread crumbs with gluten free bread crumbs, my meatballs are terrible, (I also tried it with meatloaf). The center of the meat is terrible mush. I just now made some meatballs, while I was preparing it, it packed up and firmed up nicely. I always pour some olive oil in my pot and my hands to form the balls. They formed nicely. Once they started cooking, they completely fell apart.
My ingredients for the meatballs: meat, spices, onion, garlic, 1 egg, and then the crumbs.

Please, I am open to any suggestions from anyone,
Thank you, I love your videos!
    Tim

Hello Chef John!!! My 15 years old daughter have been telling me that it would be very nice if we can see you when you are cooking and I replied to her that you do that because you want us to concentrate in the dish rather than in you. I have a surprise for her later to show her this video and she'll be extremely happy to finally see you!! Blessings from Florida and please if possible make some Panamanian Tamales Chef!
